Mommies In Orbit is searching for something very important to her, not the car keys or a permission slip for school, or even her marbles, she has lost her sense of humor, please return, reward offered!
What causes someone who is supposedly a grown-up, to lose something so vital to her being? If I could diagnose myself I would be safe in saying that I have hit maximum speed in the repetitive orbit. This is kind of a sucky place to be since it involves following the same circle everyday. Change is not an option here.
Everything in our universe orbits something else. In my case that would be the wranglers. This task is one of a kind and has to be done by the Mom. These are some high-maintenance, nosiy, little stars that seem to need something constantly and everything at once! And since we are all under the influence of one another, this Mom needs to find her sense of humor.
The only way I can escape the gravitational pull is to is to have considerable mass myself and move at a high speed. Well, I’ve got the mass, but I haven’t got the speed! With two eleven year olds, and one Mom over the horizon, it’s becomes difficult to escape anything!
Yes, it’s another thankless task! |
So what should Mommies In Orbit do? Beg for a day off, one to herself, to see if she can locate her sense of humor? Would a day of NO interruptions, demands, and maybe a latte be the cure? Let’s give that a try, Friday is only a couple of days off, let’s take it from there!
