Summer Parenting Award!

Well here we are into the third week of school and something just entered my mind. Hey wait a minute, every year after a long hot summer at home with the kids, I get some kind of thank you, balloons, or like in 2010 I received a trophy for “Best Mom Survivor Summer 2010.” This year, nothing, nada! Somehow this year was different. Most of the time I actually enjoying spending time with my kids, maturity perhaps? Yes, on my part and theirs.

So now that summer break is officially over, for the kids, now mine starts, there will not be any balloons, trophies, or cards, just the memories that we shared over the summer!
