My kids keep me on my toes with all of their moods, requests, comments and silliness. I’ve often thought that I should make up some of those awards and start handing them out to both of them.
For my daughter, the awards listed below go to her for the following performances/activities:
- For spending nearly your entire summer break behind closed doors, (and you know which ones I’m talking about girl!)
- For your galaxy sized moods that shoot across the house faster than a meteor heading for a planet, BOOM!
- And for your “ability” to make me madder than a hornet one minute, and laughing like a hyena at the next funny thing you say or do.
For my son, his awards will be presented for the following:
- For your uncanny ability to spend almost the entire summer on MINECRAFT!
- Of course, for the amazing talent you possess to block out my voice, even when it’s about food!
- And last but not least, for your crazy sense of humor that almost always begins at about 10:30 pm.
