“The sun unleashed the cosmic double whammy late March 6, erupting with two major flares to cap a busy day of powerful solar storms, Space.com reported. One of the flares is the most powerful solar eruption so far this year.”

The experts are saying this could affect some of our business here on Earth, in my little corner of the world, I think it already has. Right here at home I’ve been the target of several eruptions just today. Scientists call these the X class flares, I call them, wretched tween antics.

It’s the type of behavior that burns you up one side and down the other. The smart-ass comments and the stubbornness that only a mule could provide us with.  This solar storm is powerful enough to disrupt satellites and some communications systems.

These flares are often complemented by phenomena known as coronal mass ejections (CME) which are essentially bursts of solar wind. If a CME is directed toward the Earth, a geomagnetic storm results that can interfere with the Earth’s magnetosphere.
