NASA, Look No Further, The Aliens Are Here!

The  NASA Kepler Telescope recently discovered twenty-six new alien planets in eleven solar systems! And I think one of the alien planets was discovered right here at Mommies In Orbit!

These newly found planets vary in size from 1.5 times Earth’s radius to bigger than the planet Jupiter. They are not sure what the planets consist of. Maybe there’s a large gassy planet like Jupiter, or a planet that boasts a  rocky terrain like the Earth.  They do confess that these planets orbit very closely to their parent stars. Does that sound familiar? This really hits home with me. My aliens will start Spring Break next week and I can feel them orbiting around me to the point of suffocation!

Speaking of gravitational pull, I can barely get away from it. Rocket Boy and Channel Chick take turns accelerating and decelerating to the point of no return, that’s my return!

Definition:  Gravitational Pull; The attraction that one object has for another object due to the invisible force of gravity. The mass of an object affects its gravitational pull. The gravitational pull of the Sun keeps the planets in orbit around it.

I’m all for keeping my kids orbiting around me until they “grow some sense,” but as you can see in the picture above, this is the effect it’s had on me, I’ve turned into a Psychotic Mommy. Still, it’s my job to grow them into mature and wise human beings. No matter how great the gravitational pull, or how far or closely they orbit to the Mother Ship, they will soon reside in a solar system of their own someday!
