I don’t know what you’re thinking, but I’m not ready for Santa, and I’m sure as hell not in the mood to dig out that creepy Elf On The Shelf dude! Some retailers are displaying their Christmas stuff right across the aisle from the clearance swim suits, shorts, and tee shirts. Could we maybe enjoy the start of the Fall season, FYI, on September 23rd?
“Let’s get drunk and start our holiday shopping!” |
“A recent study in USA Today says more than 37% of shoppers plan to do holiday shopping by Halloween.” Hey wait a minute greedy retailers, some of us are just now paying off our summer vacations! What’s the point? Should we just skip pumpkins and Halloween? The earth would rock in it’s orbit, kids would start a revolution from one ocean to the next, take away Halloween, no way!
How about we just take it as it comes, by the calendar. Me and the wranglers plan to enjoy the Fall season, along with pumpkins, scarecrows, and Halloween candy! So grab a bale of hay, your faded Wrangler jeans and cowboy boots, grab some yoummy cider and sit down and just relax!
