From what I have read about Jupiter, it’s big enough for me to pack it up and head out there. Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun, and it’s the largest planet residing in our solar system. More than enough room for Mommies In Orbit!

NASA is planning on launching a spacecraft on August 5th, so I’ll have plenty of time to pack. It takes about five years to get to Jupiter. That means the wranglers, Rocket Boy and Channel Chick will be finished with middle school by the time I get there, and let’s see, if I stay for a while and then head back, hmmm another five years, well that puts them through high school and starting college! Sounds perfect!

Seems like I develped an interest in Planetary Science right about the time the little aliens began to talk, I knew then, it was time to take up an interest in something. Many years later, Mommies In Orbit was born.

I’ve read that Jupiter is a very stormy planet, something I’ve become accustomed to living here with the wranglers. If they’re not bickering and slinging arrows at one another, then they are giggling like mad wildebeasts.

It’s such an awesome planet, it has 50 moons and it also has rings that can only be viewed as it passes in front of the sun. I think I’m gonna like it there. If they have some extra room on the spacecraft, I think I’ll take The Black Dog and Smart Border Collie along. They love space adventures. Don’t worry wranglers, I’m sure I can contact you via satellite and you can uplink some new photos to me. See you soon!

Make room for us canines!

Love,

Mommies In Orbit
