The wranglers had a very successful lemonade stand on Memorial Day with all proceeds going to help the people and pets in Joplin Missouri after a devastating tornado. The proceeds, along with a donation from Mom and Dad went to the “Global Animal Foundation.” They provide shelter, medical care and food to our family pets after natural disasters.
We then headed to the backyard pool for some fun and relaxation. Neighbors and friends were all invited, a kind of impromptu pool splash. No rain, and no thunderstorms to deposit furniture into the deep end of the pool like last Monday. No collapsing gazebos, and no flying BBQ grills. Just sunshine and the loud song of the thousands of cicadas.
The kids had a blast and so did The Black Dog and Smart Border Collie. It was a great Memorial Day celebration. Hope everyone else had a fun, relaxing and safe Memorial Day celebration.
