Valentine Roses, awesome.

What’s so awesome about being at the dentist on Valentine’s Day? The surprise when you arrive home, that’s what! My Little Dude had to make a visit to the dentist to have three stubborn  baby teeth pulled. He was quite the champ throughout the whole process. Kicked back in the dental chair, remote in one hand and TV guide in the other, they literally pulled three teeth during an episode of Spongebob Squarepants.

Thanks for the distraction.

They stuffed his mouth with gauze, why didn’t I think of that, and before we knew it, the whole ordeal was over, not a tear to be found anywhere. He did remember to ask for the little box to keep his treasures in and to cash in on some money from the Tooth Fairy.

What is the going price for a tooth in 2011 times three?  When he was advised to eat ice cream for dinner, that just made Valentine’s Day for a 10 year old boy. We stopped by the store to snatch up some dinner and arrived home to a vase full of beautiful roses, compliments of Dear Husband.

The cave people are really growing up, they both picked out great cards and cool necklaces for Mom  And My Little Dude made a card for Mom and Dad, complete with pull out tabs expressing just how he feels, with a big Happy Valentine’s Day!  I can’t imagine Mother’s Day being any better than this!!
