The kids are gone at school now, and the week is filled with activities. My son will be in a play this week called, “Charlotte’s Web,” where he will play the part of a sheep : ) They are also celebrating Veteran’s Day with a performance on Friday. We are so lucky to be a part of a school that gives 100% to its students. I recall going to a meeting at the school to give parents an opportunity to voice their concerns. Throughout most of the meeting I heard numerous complaints regarding various issues. I finally raised my hand and expressed my gratitude to the principal and staff… for all the effort they put forth each day of the week to make sure our kids are safe and nurtured. It takes a lot of effort from parents, schools and the people in our communities to assist in shaping our future adults.
