There are many ways a Mom can tell that Summer Break has arrived and the kids are home, all…day…long!
- My morning coffee can be sipped in peace and quiet.
- The grocery bill just skyrocketed!
- There are no more solo trips to Target! Sob!
- Flip flops are multiplying by the back door.
- Smooshed juice boxes are everywhere.
- Mom’s wallet is void of cash.
- I keep hearing the same words over and over, “I’m bored.”
- My Prozac dose has doubled.
- Afternoon naps for Mom are a thing of the past.
- All electronic devices are ON!
- I hear myself saying, “I’ve had it!” a lot more.
- The remote is missing.
- My thoughts are fragmented, that’s nothing new!
and last but not least, Mommies In Orbit needs to super-size her martini!

My wallet never has cash in it to begin with. . . Found you on the ultimate blog roll. I love your theme!
I love going to Target alone – it’s so relaxing. Summer is full of sacrifices for moms, isn’t it? Good thing we’re able to “super-size” our favorite beverages…my choice? Margaritas!
Thanks so much for joining the Feed Me Friday hop. It was great to have you and I hope that you’ll join us in the future!
