Whoever said that Sunday night was an evening to relax? Here at Mommies In Orbit, it’s chaos!  This is not a calm orbit, this is one of an elliptical shape spinning out of control. The kids are worried about school on Monday and the parents are frazzled from hanging with the kids all weekend. It’s quite a cycle, similar to solar flares.

When solar flares happen, it’s much like a Mommy ready to blow, and we all know what that’s like!  The hot gases from the surface of the sun are flung, and I do love that word, out into space. If perhaps the Earth just happens to be right in line with that particular solar  explosion, the charged particles from the explosion can interrupt satellite and our precious cell phone communications. And all of this chaos occurs because kids, act like wild animals (wildebeasts in particular)…. and one Mommy blows up and screams for the millionth time, “I just can’t take this anymore!!!” Because of this chaos, you may not get cell phone reception today!

As our kids morph into those creatures called preteens and the smart-mouth begins, the solar winds begin.  These solar winds vary in strength and are detected as something know as an electrical charge. In fact, that makes me think that maybe this is the medicine my twins may need to help them straighten up their acts, yes, a really heavy-duty electrical charge from our friend, the Sun.

I dunno, but what the heck happend to the “Leave It To Beaver” Sunday evening dinner? Tonight was even more insane than ususal, perhaps it was too many word problems, or too much about the Nile River, maybe an excessive amount of vocab words. Never the less…. I can still feel the electric charge in my Mommy brain. Sure hope I can wake up for boot camp in the morning to get the kids ready and out the door. Then perhaps after the second mug of coffee, I can get down to this so-called business of being a Mom.

I don’t know if I’m coming or going?
Is this meatloaf again, or is this cake?
