Have you ever experienced a painful bout of brain freeze? You know the instantaneous pain in your temples after eating something frozen, being around your kids too long?
Scientists report that people who suffer from migraines are more likely to experience painful episodes of brain freeze. Double whammy!
I honestly believe that it’s parental overload. Here are the top five things that overload my brain circuitry:
- Bickering kids, over bacon, over Mom’s attention, over anything or nothing at all!
- Remindering, you know the morning drill, when you could swear you’ve told them like a million times to pack it up and get ready for school!
- Door slamming performances that rock the house!
- Tempers that flare as hot as Planet Venus trapping infrared radiation, thereby causing heat overload!
- Hovering and babbling in unison, it’s absolutely maddening!
Since my job is to orbit these two “objects” in space and on earth, I can call myself a satellite. The orbits will change throughout the years, but the brain freeze episodes will only become more intense. After all, we’re dealing with preteens right now, the best is yet to come!
