Dear Daughter’s Desk!

I find the weirdest kid treasures on my desk and in my kitchen. Mr. Penguin was perched on my printer when I got home today. Hello!  I found Jerry the Dragon Lizard on my kitchen counter while making coffee this morning. There’s kid stuff everywhere! Yes, the wranglers do have bedrooms, but nothing ever makes it up the stairs to their rooms unless Mommy puts it away.

Kids have the oddest items in their rooms and in their backpacks. Dear Daughter hung this picture of donuts in her room alongside Mr. Bieber a couple of years ago, she never takes it down, I find that disturbing somehow. Her desk is a pit to be reckoned with, no room for homework here.

Little Dude has a hankering to build something monumental with his mini Legos, but it’s just been sitting there waiting and waiting and in the meantime Smart Border Collie and Black Dog love to swipe tiny little pieces so we can pry them out of their mouths.

In the summer time it’s different STUFF, outdoor stuff!  Besides the bikes and scooters and balls, there are thousands of pool toys. Rafts and spongy noodles, boats and oars, swim masks and goggles, sunscreen, wet slimy towels, flip flops, sticky juice boxes and Popsicle sticks.  STUFF, it’s a force to be reckoned with and not to be taken lightly! Can’t live with too much of it, can’t live without it!
