It’s official, Mommies In Orbit is going on strike!! It’s not that I don’t like doing things for my family, it’s like this, they are getting lazy because I do too much. I knew when I gave up my job in the corporate world and popped out twins, I signed on for permanent Mom duty, I had no idea it would be so physically exhausting and brain deterioration would set in so quickly!
Take dinner for example, I’m not a fan of instant, sodium-packed food that is plucked from the freezer. But on the other hand, cooking from scratch and spending insane amounts of time in the kitchen makes me claustrophobic. Do I leave the cooking up to the wranglers?
“What the hell am I doing?” |
What about cleaning? Should I avoid it like the plague? Would anyone notice? The problem lies within my Type A personality, I AM the only one who would notice the filth, the rest of the cave people could give a hoot! It’s like a curse…. the more I clean, the more I clean, it’s a thankless task.
“This sucks so badly!” |
What about grocery shopping? Is that really a necessity? Would the wranglers pitch in if the pantry were empty? How about hauling in supplies, the necessities of life? Could I just shuck those duties for a while?
“Do we really need this much freakin’ stuff?” |
In other words, “YOU, people, pick up the slack!” Mommies In Orbit needs a helping hand or she’s gonna blow! And if you think the solar flares that recently occurred were powerful, just you wait, wranglers!
“Any questions?” |
