If you’ve heard the song “Drive By” by the band TRAIN, then you know it’s catchy and energetic. While my kids and I were listening to it in the car today, I had a thought, yes once in a while I do have a coherent thought! I know the lyrics are about a relationship, BUT, part of the words reminded me about parenting, yep! Think about it, when you become a parent, it’s for a lifetime and we need to be there for our kids each and every step of the way!
“Oh I swear to you
I’ll be there for you,
This is not a drive by,”
Awesome, huh! We actually had a Mom/kid connection right there in the parking lot at K-Mart!
