So it’s the middle of Summer and keeping cool is a job most days. My dogs love to hang out with me on the deck, around the pool, just about where ever I go. If it’s too hot to take them for a walk, we go for a ride at dusk, noses sniffing in all of the night smells. I’m convinced that Dogs Just Wanna Have Fun! We sit outside in the evening with our citronella candles lit until the stars come out. Here’s Nikki lounging on the patio furniture, looks comfy! What you don’t see in the background is the fan blowing on her to keep her cool!
Cody likes to run around the yard “on patrol” barking and playing with the neighbor’s dog through the fence. Then he plops down and rests until he’s ready to go at it again!
Enjoy those Summer days and nights with your dogs, they’ll thank you for it with lots of smiles and licks!
