Mom-isms have been around since, well, since Moms needed to say them and kids needed to hear them. Here are a few momisms that my Mom passed down to me and many more I’ve heard even before I had kids, or BK {before kids}.
- Don’t run with scissors!
- Knock it off, or you’re going to hell in a hand-basket!
- One day you’ll thank me for this!
- If I’ve told you once, I’ve told you 1,000 times (double that for twins),if you fall out of that tree and break your leg, don’t come running to me!
- I’ve got eyes in the back of my head, so watch out!
- Just you wait until you have kids of your own!
- I slave for hours over a hot stove, and this is the thanks I get!
- I can barely wait until you have teenagers of your own to raise!
