Toys for the Holidays!

I’ve been looking through some of the ads in the newspaper at the new toys coming out for the holidays 2012. My kids are too old for toys, but it’s still fun to look.  They would rather have Santa bring them an iPad or a Smart Phone.  While the toy market still offers games like “Operation and The Game of Life,” I did see some fairly odd stuff.  One of the toys that caught my attention was the Barbie Photo Fashion doll. Here she is, skinny jeans and all. You can customize her tiny tee in just a snap! Or take a photo by pressing the button on Barbie’s belt buckle. Never mentioned megapixels! Need I say more, just bizarre!

Here’s one for boys that I thought was awesome, especially if your kids like to bicker and fight. Get them each one and get this party started.  Introducing the Toy Story Buzz Lightyear Ultimate Arm.  This motion activated glove has real life sounds like karate chopping, and fighting noises, (we hear a lot of those here anyway), and that famous phrase, “To Infinity and Beyond.”  That’s pretty much the phrase I use when I’ve had it up to here!  And if that’s not enough, it features real life laser sounds, over and over. I could see me yanking the batteries on this sucker real quick!

And this is just the tip of the iceberg, it only gets better from here!
