What could possibly happen if you give a Mom a new vehicle to drive? Just because I’m a Mom doesn’t mean that I don’t like cool cars, trucks, SUV’s and sporty convertibles. After driving minivans for several years, this Mom thought it was time to trade her van in for a different type of ride. Not that there’s anything wrong with minivans! My kids practically grew up with sliding doors.

Well, while driving her new car, Mom might forget that she can actually buy bread and milk from the grocery store up the street, but instead choose to go to a store in the next county, all in the name of taking a ride, getting to know her new home on wheels.

“I’ll be home soon kids!”

She might forget to pick up the kids at school for their dental appointment, because she’s having way too much fun learning about all the new buttons and features on the dash!

This is awesome!

Home cooked dinners may become a thing of the past, as Mom completely and happily forgets about serving nutritious meals to her family. After all, she’s too busy to be stuck in the kitchen when she could be cruising on the open road.

MUSIC, is what she’ll be listening to instead of the wranglers bickering in the backseat. She’s gotta try out the new sound system, without interruptions!

Breaking in a new car takes lots of time and patience. So if the kids need help with their homework, or clean clothes, since she won’t be spending much time in the laundry room, they can always ask DAD!

“Oh My!”

Since she will enjoy the “hands-free” blue tooth in her SUV, she will be taking calls, but only occasionally from the wranglers. After all, driving takes concentration!

So sorry kids that I missed your first day at middle school, but when a Mom has gotta drive, there’s no stopping her! Good luck!
