Countdown To Sleepover Madness!

It’s the time of year again, November the birthday month. Boys want action parties and girls want sleepovers, my worst nightmare. I’ve already hinted to several veteran sleepover Moms that I’m willing to shell out big bucks for someone else to host this event, while I check into a nice hotel, no luck yet! The thought of entertaining a bunch of eleven year old girls frightens me. I barely know what to do with one eleven year old. 

It’s like a crap shoot, you never know how the evening will go. How does one keep a tribe of girls busy? Games, manicures, movies, and food! Who will stay and who will want to go home in the wee hours of the morning? What do girls that age turn into at midnight? Cinderella or a vampire?

I’m more at ease with boy parties. But when you have tween twins, they must go their separate ways. Just book a time slot at your local Sports Fusion or anywhere they can run, jump, slide and whack one another with balls, and they are happy. When your time slot is up, you are free to go!

I can just imagine how Mommies In Orbit will look before and after the sleepover.
