I’ll miss you!

Juno Lifts Off

“The Juno spacecraft launched aboard an Atlas V rocket from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida on Friday, Aug. 5, 2011. Juno will make a five-year, 400-million-mile voyage to Jupiter.” (credit to NASA.gov).

I had this event planned for a looong time, a glorious trip to Jupiter, kid free!  Five years to get to Jupiter, spend some time there exploring and then five years to come back to earth. That would put the wranglers at about, let’s see, college bound??  First jobs? Begging to come and live back home?

The “rack” pictured below is equal to the level of torture my kids inflicted on me today. Really, what the hell are they trying to accomplish? If one wasn’t hurling poisionous darts, and laughing hysterically, then the other one was screaming like a werewolf!! Where did these people come from?

It’s the real thing!

These aliens can change directions and attitudes like a hurricane! You don’t know what the hell is coming next!  I’m startin’ to think they both need shock therapy and/or I need to fill the pool with vodka, then insert one of those long straws from QuikTrip and sip away.

Take a hike, kids!
