What is the definition of  “chaos?”  According to the web dictionary, chaos is “a condition or place of great disorder or confusion,” in other words, my house!  And who makes all of this confusion possible??  The wranglers, of course. Who am I referring to? Channel Chick and Rocket Boy.  Who would have thought that twins so adorable at age three could, over a period of several years, begin to mimic the bird-like carnivores from millions of years ago. Somedays their behavior is comparable to the velociraptors from the later part of the Cretaceous Period.

So you won’t play basketball with me, huh?
So fast forward to year 2011, join us in the “tween orbit.”  Most of our days begin with a fiery explosion. It’s just the way it is! The wranglers can agree on one thing, to disagree about nearly everything.
Channel Chick is sly and fast on her feet. Rocket Boy knows every button of hers to “push and hold” until he gets just the reaction he had hoped for. Just when you think they are walking on common ground, another poisonous dart flies through the house.
Things shape up a bit when school starts and Mommy can have a thought, and finish it too! Door slammin’, smart mouthin’, back talkin’ and just plain chaos, all nearly diminish when the school bus returns. Gee, it’s something to look forward to, but until then, this Mommy will be pouring some kick-ass martinis, for sanity of course.
