Could Mother’s Day have gone any better? Nope, Could the weather have been any nicer? No way! Could the wranglers have behaved any better? Probably not! What more could a Mom ask for?

The kids wrote a poem for me and picked out some really random cards. Got some awesome gifts too! They actually seem to be developing quite a sense of humor.  Somedays, I can communicate with them like they are almost human!  I can tell you, now that my twins are 10 1/2 years old, it’s fast becoming one of my favorite ages. Really!

Days Gone By!

The little monkeys jumpin’ on the bed are fast becoming ma-ma-ma-mature!  I’m thinkin’ we are currently orbiting in the “Transition Orbit.”  The wranglers are no longer little kids and want some freedom.  With Summer break just around the corner, I may loosen the Mommy grip a bit, but remember, I still have a paid subscription to Google Earth, and I’m watching you!  Besides my superior images from Google Satellite, I now have a handy-dandy set of walkie talkies for keepin’ track of the kids.
Yep, that was one of my Mom’s Day gifts. I figure walkie talkies can come in handy in a lot of situations.  Like when I’m lounging poolside and someone needs me, they can reach me via W/T. It’s better than hollering out the upstairs windows. When the aliens want to venture off to a friend’s house, I can beep them when it’s time to come home. If Mommy needs an iced tea refill or a snack, I could buzz the wranglers up. Next step, cell phones, but for now our Motorolas will do.

And for all those Moms out there, Happy Mother’s Day!
