Now that we are within the tween orbit, it’s a tough job for Santa to know what to drop off at our house. Gone are the days of hot wheel cars and tracks, pretend kitchens with plastic dishes and dress up clothes. While doing some serious shopping today, I came across some really bizarre gifts
Remember Bozo the clown? Or have you been trying to forget Bozo the clown? Sorry Bozo, I know you’re a legend from the 1960’s but I just can’t see this guy hanging around the house. Bozo looks just a little too happy for me and I don’t want to know why. Or do I?

Not welcome here! |
OK, this spider toy is just plain creepy, not so much how it looks, but what it does. Here’s the rundown:
“The Web Runner R/C Spider toy is so much fun! It climbs walls, skitters across the ceiling or runs on the floor. It’s easy to operate, runs on “normal” batteries and recharges quickly. It really looks cool as its legs wiggle and its eyes glow as it moves across the
ceiling. Very cool!”
This creepy crawler ranks right up there with the stabbity dolls from Grand-ma-ma’s attic. Yikes!
OK, who is this guy? My kids are wishing they could have this for Christmas, but I think it’s more appropriate for Mom. I could be using this to assist with my daily chores, therefore allowing more free time for me. Putting away laundry could be a breeze, flinging backpacks and shoes where they belong, teasing the dogs, and bringing in groceries, I can see many uses for this indoor zip line. (Moms only)

Who the heck is this guy? |
It’s the all new Laser Airzooka, yes, really. It shoots air up to a 50ft radius. This is another toy suitable more for parents than kids. OK, kids it’s time to do your homework, no answer, did you hear me? No answer, blast! Good, got your attention. This could also be applied to waking up in the morning, bedtime burnout and dinner is ready, did you HEAR ME?
Oh joy Santa, an indoor archery set. My kids can’t even get along at the dinner table, or breakfast, or while watching TV. I can see Little Dude racing around the house chasing Dear Daughter with a fresh supply of arrows. Maybe not this year Santa.

Oh Sister, where are you? |
