I’m in charge.

Alright you guys, knock it off! But Mom we’re not doing anything!  No, not you guys, the other two, the canine kids. Since we adopted a playmate for Nikki, it’s been chaos, joy, and the Daytona 500 in the family room. Cody, the black dog is definitely in charge of the toys, the more he can grab, the better his day his. Nikki the black and white border collie is the brains of the canine family.
While Cody is constantly begging for our attention, Nikki, the kitchen counter criminal, is planning her next food heist. Nikki is my helper in the kitchen, if I leave a drawer open, she closes it, with her nose, cabinet door left ajar, no problem, shut. Kitchen chair just not in the perfect position to view dinner on the table, she moves it. We have a hunch that Nikki is currently revolving in “me orbit.” Everything revolves around me, I want out, I want in, I want to eat, I want a toy. Yikes!
Cody-Boy, is still a pup, one year at best, we reckon he’s now orbiting in the toddler orbit. He lives for toys, stuffed animals, legos, crayons and just had his first taste of a Christmas ornament. Cody is a lover and gives lots of affection and Nikki makes us work for her attention. Both dogs are mixed breeds and were adopted. They bring our family unconditional love and joy daily.
