The kids are off to school and Mom comes home to her daytime buddies. Let me introduce you to the dynamic duo. Nikki is our 4-year old Border Collie, and Cody- Boy is our Black Lab. They keep me company while I work on my blog and attempt to find freelance writing jobs.

It’s amazing how much love and comfort they bring to our family. Both dogs were adopted from shelters. Nikki is our smarty pants pup, able to outsmart us humans most of the time. Cody is the teaser and prankster, he is adamant about carrying two or more toys in his mouth. You can see the mischief in his pose. As Winter approaches, I am so thankful that I have my two daytime buddies
to keep me company.
