Being a pet parent of two rambunctious dogs is a lot to deal with sometimes. Since we are out and about more, I’ve made a list of some tips to keep you and your pets happy and healthy!
- Make sure your pet wears an identification tag at all times or be sure they are micro-chipped, just in case they decide to bolt through the gate.
- Pets can experience behavioral problems at any time and these issues need to be dealt with right away. If you have a puppy, be sure to enroll them in a behavioral training class to learn good manners from the start. Some behavioral problems can be caused from health issues, make sure you visit your vet to find out why your pet is acting the way he is.
- If your dog does not “come on command,” (and mine sure don’t), be safe rather than sorry and keep them on-leash at all times when out and about.
- With the hot summer days coming up, make sure you keep your pet cool by bringing them inside during those hot days, and keep plenty of fresh water available for them.
- Don’t forget to protect your pets from fleas and ticks this Summer!
Most of all, enjoy each and every day with your furry friends!

Great list. Thank you. Our dogs don’t wear name tags (no collars), but I do need to have the puppies microchipped.
Thanks for sharing these tips. I think that it will work for making happy to pet. I have a pet and I love it as like my child. If you have an idea and tip for activities that I can do with my pet in rainy season then please share with me.
