If you’re an air show fan like I am, don’t miss The Blue Angels as they travel around the country this year, 2014. I was lucky enough to see them perform on Saturday May 3rd in St. Louis at the Spirit of St. Louis airshow along two amazing stunt pilots, Patty Wagstaff and Skip Stewart. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels were formed in June 1946 and have performed for more than 485 million fans across the country and all around the world. The Blue Angels fly the F/A-18 Hornet, made by Boeing Company. Their home base is at NAS Pensacola, Florida.
In the 2014 season, The Blue Angels are scheduled to fly 65 performances at 34 locations.

Growing up in El Centro, CA we got to see the Blue Angles every winter! The El Centro Air Base is their winter home so it was nonstop! Granted my parents hated living so close that the windows constantly rattled, but it was cool seeing them every year for free!
