When it comes to dogs, I’m over the top in love with them. Nikki and Cody mean the world to me and so have all of my other pets, who have passed before me. They are furry little angels. Even though they cannot use words, those big, bright, shiny brown eyes tell me what I need to know. We are connected! They understand me and I get what they want and need.
What I want for Christmas is not material, or new, or even expensive. What I want for Christmas is for all animals to have good, loving homes, be appreciated for their uniqueness, unconditional love and to be treated with the respect they deserve.
Nikki and Cody bring so much joy to my life that cannot be measured. They are my constant companions through thick and thin. They represent to me all that is good and right with the world. They bring a special gift to me daily, one of love, that cannot compare to the sometimes off and on relationships we have with our fellow humans.
So while Santa and his reindeer are being tracked by kids this Christmas with their GPS devices, I will be fully content to be snuggled up with Cody the toy- hoarder, and Nikki, the bossy-border collie. Nothing else would make me happier!

a lovely tribute to your fur kids. 🙂
Sounds great to me! I want that too 🙂
I agree! There is nothing better!
I’m with you! What a wonderful Christmas wish for us all to have. I hope that at least some animals can find warm, loving, forever homes this season!
