Why should I choose a grain free food for my dogs? It’s healthy, affordable and my dogs like it! I’ve read that grain free is the way to go, so what are the advantages to feeding a grain free diet?
First and foremost, #Diamond Naturals Grain Free is made only from a trusted meat source used as the primary ingredient. Real chicken, beef and fish protein sources give dogs the amino acid building blocks to help keep them lean and energetic. A diet rich in protein and free from grains is by nature, a sound choice. This type of diet resembles what dogs consumed before they became domesticated.
I’ve learned firsthand that grains like wheat and corn can be the cause of allergies in some dogs. Since choosing a grain free diet for Nikki, my border collie, she has not had any more ear infections. That’s solid proof to me that #Diamond Naturals Grain Free diet keeps her healthier and happier.
Feeding a grain-free diet also gives my two dogs a lot more energy. And that leads to more walks and more play, and happier dogs. #Diamond Naturals Grain Free foods contain higher levels of protein and fat, so you can feed less but still have energized dogs. To top it off Diamond uses the goodness of sweet potatoes, fruits, and vegetables, plus they add in natural antioxidants for good health.
#Diamond Naturals Grain Free food comes in three flavors, packed with rich protein and these formulas are suitable for all stages of your dog’s life.
- Chicken & Sweet Potato
- Beef & Sweet Potato
- Whitefish and Sweet Potato

Interesting review. Our vet just recommended we take Duke off a grain free diet that we had him on prior to the visit. Always good to have information though on the options!
My Lab has recurrent ear infections… maybe I should try giving her grain free food. Good info. Sharing this.
Interesting review. We took our lab off of a grain diet years ago. I took myself off this year! 😉
Hi Val,
I think it helps to get rid of ear infections and stomach problems. They are both so energetic and wild. 🙂
