Yesterday’s news about the possibility of a new planet in our solar system called Tyche, (ty-kee), was just an added bonus to Valentine’s Day.  A couple of astronomers claim that this planet is possibly four times the size of Jupiter, but they’re not sure. Yikes, they’re not sure!! They claim it may be lurking, (my kids are lurkers), in our solar system. I’ve read that scientists believe that the atmosphere may be similar to Jupiter’s….lots of helium and hydrogen. Oh yea, it’s also really big and really far away. OK, this type of information is not conducive to a restful nights slumber.
Where are you large and Jupiter-like Tyche?
I do believe that this new “Tyche Planet” had a negative effect on my kids tonight. They were both smart mouthin’, fightin’, slammin’, and downright gaseous.

It didn’t take an astronomer to figure out that some down-home, earthly punishment could break the spell.

Strange kid behavior tonight! Ty-che!!!

So, who knows what they will find when the data is studied and processed and appears before us in April.  All I know for sure is there was some bizzre behavior going on around here and I suspect Tyche had something to do with it.  Smart Border Collie and The Black Dog are anxious to give us a full report on our new planet upon their return.

My pups on their way to check out Tyche!
