Dogs and Visitation after Divorce!

dogs overnightI’ve heard all kinds of stuff about what happens to the fur-babies when two people get divorced. Well I’m here to tell you that we have worked that out beautifully. Cody and Nikki see their Dad as much as they wish. Heck, they even had a sleepover the other night!! I packed up the giant dog pillow, food, toys, and off they went. Dad provided the treats. It can be worked out, just remember that the family fur- babies have feelings too.

Pets deserve all the love they can get, since they are very good at giving love.

My aunt and uncle divorced and they amicably share the dog they’ve had for many years. think of the pets as well, and what this means to them if they were to be cut off from one of their owners

I love what you wrote and shared with us, I don’t see why furry babies have to be left out or
put aside because of a certain situration,,

Well i am happy about this. I knew a couple who broke up and the fight on who got the pets really got nasty. Some people made some snide comments about them not being kids, what the big deal was. Pets are indeed a part of a family, and just like with children pets can get swept up in the fight between the former partners. I am glad both of you were able to work it out. 🙂

This is a great idea. I never thought of this before. Our pets are like our children. Thank you so much for sharing

  • This is one of my biggest fears. Not being able to rise above and do what’s best for the dogs. I’m so glad that it IS possible.
